Stephen Llewellyn Trail Adopt-A-Park Program

As an effort towards contributing back to the society, Guruvayurappan temple of Brampton had adopted a six kilometer secton of the Stephen Llewellyn Trail as part of City of Brampton’s “Adopt-A-Park Program” 10 years ago.

We are now in the 11th year of continuous community service.

The adopted trail runs from Sandalwood & Airport all the way to Sandalwood and Cobblestone Drive.

The greenery and scenic beauty of parks and trails contributes to the quality of our life by providing us a link to nature in a typical overwhelming, urban settng. Our Temple has committed to Brampton City to coordinate and cleanup the adopted trail. We are into our 11th successful year now and by participatng in the Adopt-a-Park Program, volunteers donate time to help, maintain, beautify, enhance and keep the park safe for all to enjoy.

Join us. Contact the Temple to coordinate.

Students can bank these hours as volunteer hours for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
