COVID Updates: Revised Operating Guidelines

New Temple Entry Restrictions

Given the changing COVID situation, it has unfortunately become necessary to adopt more stringent entry requirements so that we can safely continue providing services that are currently available at the temple.

The temple remains open for the convenience of our devotees with restricted entry following recent Public Health Recommendations and the advice of the temple’s medical advisory committee to ensure the safety of the devotees, staff, volunteers and the priests.

Effective Saturday, 14th August 2021, only fully vaccinated persons will be allowed inside the temple. Children, under 12, who are not vaccinated will not be permitted inside the temple for now; in view of the increasing risk for these children to contact the Delta variant of COVID 19.

President's Message

Our aim is to PROTECT OUR CHILDREN, who are the future of our temple! We as parents are responsible to achieve this as much as possible and in the best possible way. We are also obligated to protect the other high-risk groups ... (Read more)

Self declaration form

It has become increasingly difficult to obtain volunteers to conduct in person screening before entering the temple. Hence, we are implementing a “self declaration” to screen devotees before entering the temple. We request your sincere cooperation in completing this questionnaire 24-48 hours before entering the temple to ensure that the most recent information is being provided. A printed copy of this questionnaire [download, sign, bring to temple] signed by the devotee who has registered online should be brought to the temple and handed to the personnel at the entrance of the temple. We are actively discouraging walk-in’s at this time.

We are planning to engage personnel from a human resources company until the volunteer shortage is resolved. They will be responsible to collect the forms at the door and ensure that the guidelines are being adhered to.
